My Wonderful Friends!!! O, and my bday party too :)

Lets just start off my saying...I LOVE MY MEMPHIS FAMILY!!!!! My birthday always falls on or near Thanksgiving...therefore, everyone is always doing family things...NOT THIS YEAR!!! My wonderful friends got together with my hubby and planned all of these special surprises for me. The night starts off with Charles, talking me into going out to eat, instead of cooking..."sounds great to me!" I'm always up for not cooking... :) But, I started getting confused when he asked me if I was going to wear my scrubs, and kindly suggested that I change into something different AND saying that we couldn't go until 7 b/c he had to study...OK whatever, I say. So, while playing on the computer, "waiting for 7 oclock, so that we could go eat" the doorbell rings. Reminder...I DON'T answer the door after dark...after yelling for CP a couple of times and he ignoring me, I finally get up and peek out the blinds. I see Kayla and Lauren smiling and waving at me. I open the door and they say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Now get your purse and come on!" So, without tooo many questions, I go. They took me to the Nail Bar where Kendall was waiting on us! We got pedis and then went back to the Trammells house where the sweet hubby brought in, yes, my favorite...OUTBACK TO GO!!! It was SOOOO yummy AND Lauren made the best chocolate cupcakes too. It was SUCH AN AWESOME NIGHT and I REALLY appreciate my sweet friends doing this for me! It really really means alot and I love you all. Thanks so much for being wonderful friends.

Pumpkin Carving

So, after months of no blogging, here I am again. After some kind motivation from friends, I knew I had better get to posting!! :) Saturday was the UT vs Alabama game and we went to the Sisco's to watch it. The game didn't turn out the way that we Vols fans had hoped, but it could have been much worse. Good game Vols, maybe next time! :) So, Travis warned us during about the 3rd quarter that it would be getting dark soon, so if we wanted to carve pumpkins, we better go get them. Kayla and I left to pick out our pumpkins and might I say we missed the very best part of the game. Thanks to the Sisco's for Tivoing it. So, after pumpkin picking, we did get to rewind and watch the rest of the game. Then we got to work!! Here are Charles and Travis getting them started...

Me, digging in...I don't remember ever carving a pumpkin, I'm sure I did when I was little, but I don't remember it, so I was REALLY excited!!!

Such a fun night. Even tho the game didn't end on a happy note for us, we went on with our night. After pumpkin carving, we went "patrolling!!" We are really getting good at this. We all kind of go freaked out this time, but it was still fun. Thanks to the Sisco's for some yummy food and a good night!!!!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

Today is Charles' 25th birthday...Old Man! We went to Houston's for dinner and stopped by the Sisco's for a birthday photo. Thanks Kayla for helping us out!!

Monday the guys had another test, so we went to eat afterwards to "celebrate the test being over"...or thats why I told Charles we were going....Really, I had ordered him an icecream cake from Baskin Robbins and we were going out for his bday. But, when he wouldn't decide where ge wanted to eat, I told him, "look, its your day, we are celebrating your bday, YOU PICK", so he did! We went to eat at Happy Mexican and it was fun. Then we came back to our house for cake and CORNHOLE!!!

So, we had a great night hanging out with friends and can't wait til the next birthday celebration....Who will it be??? And, by the way...not sure that I have told them, so here it is: Travis and Kayla, thanks for making your Cornhole game. We have had so much fun with it and even tho in our "Sisco's vs. Puryear's" game, ya'll won...we will come back! :)

Time to UPDATE! I have gotten lots of grief, so here it is, life the past few months!

So...I'm NOT good at this! The past few months have been fun, yet busy...so, here it is. LIFE! Recently Charles finished his 1st year of Dental School, he and I went to the beach (where we celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!) our friends Tyler and Callie got married AND we became reunited with our Dental School friends!

Back in MEMPHIS, together again!!! The girls went to see WICKED and it was AWESOME!!!! We laughed thru the entire thing and it was so much fun!!! Thanks to Kayla for taking charge and making us do this, it was sooo worth it!

OOOO BOY! We are all back together and had a CRAZY night!!!! It was a blast and Charles and I have laughed sooo much since Saturday. And, I LOVE this pict of all of us!

Spring Break Beach Trip

So, every year we go to Florida on Aunt Kim and Maria's Spring Break. Its our "girls trip...plus Will" and this year Uncle Dan and Dave came a few days later. We had such a good time this year and Will is so much fun. He is at a good age, and if you can't tell, I'm pretty crazy about this baby. :)

Dental "PROM"

WOW, I have not been very good at the blog thing, I have SO MUCH to catch up on!!!

So, Friday night we went to the Dental School Formal...which we all call "Dental School Prom." SO MUCH FUN!!!! The night started out with the Sisco's and Trammels picking us up and going to eat at the Butcher Shop. There, the Joneses, Blockleys and Rickey's met us. It was funny b/c we had joked about the "Prom" thing for a while and it really was prom night somewhere. There were a group of high school promers and people kept starring at us b/c they thought we were in high school too, thanks!
